Technologies of our military.

In this blog post I will be talking about new technologies of the military. I hope you will find this as interesting as I do. I am going to start off by talking about something that may seem impossible, but the US Military is developing liquid body armor. Yes I know what you're thinking this sounds impossible but it's true. This armor has a liquid inside of it that has some very unique properties. When hit by a bullet the liquid hardens and prevents the bullet from going through to the soldier, thus the soldier does not get hurt. The benefits of the liquid body armor is that it allows the soldier more mobility, it is lightweight and lets the soldier aim as he runs. More about the liquid body armor

The key component of liquid armor is a shear thickening fluid. STF is composed of hard particles suspended in a liquid. The liquid, polyethylene glycol, is non-toxic, and can withstand a wide range of temperatures. Hard, nano-particles of silica are the other components of STF. This combination of flowable and hard components results in a material with unusual properties.

This next segment is going to be talking about aircraft. I figure since I told you about some equipment they are developing then I would also tell you about a aircraft. Now this aircraft is called Falcon HTV-2 and from what I gather this aircraft has already been built. The Falcon HTV-2 can reach up to 13,000 mph, while withstanding temperatures up to 2,000c. 13,000mph is 20 times the speed of sound! The reason for this plane being built is because the US Military wanted to make a plane that could drop bombs anywhere in the world while reach that part of the world in less than an hour.
I hope you enjoyed learn about the new things that other military are coming up with and have built. I find this type of stuff very interesting as I hope you do as well.

  1. This post is very informative and I myself am very much interested in the different military technologies. One suggestion, break up your paragraphs because that will keep your readers coming back for more.
