The history of the world war 2.

I am going to be talking about the history of world war two in this blog post. World war two is the worst war by far the U.S. has been in. I will start off by telling you how world war two broke out. World war two actually starts because of world war ones treaty. The treaty punished Germany a lot and caused them to go into a depression. This give Adolf Hitler the perfect chance to rise to power and take over Germany and that's exactly what he did. Once Hitler was in control of Germany he then made treaties with Japan and Italy.
Those things are what built up to the war. World war two starts when Germany invades Poland. As a result of them invading Poland, France and Great Britain declare war on Germany and war begins.
Germany then invades the following countries; on April 9th 1940 Germany invades Norway and Denmark at the same time. This brings the war to the east of Europe. Then in May 10th the Germans swept through Belgium and the Netherlands, this was known as blitzkrieg or lightning war.
Germany takes France over and is hitting Great Britain pretty hard. So the U.S. is helping supply Great Britain and is going to free France. The U.S. free France of German control was called D-day.
Germany has a truce with Russia but Hitler betrays the truce by attacking Russia and they fail. This makes Russia really mad and so they attack Germany as a result of them getting attacked.
Hitler starts losing the war Russia is attacking them from one side and the U.S. from the other. The Russian make it to Hitler first but before they can capture him he kills himself. Once Hitler is dead the war is over.
As a result of the war 45-60 million people were killed. Six million were Jews as a result of Hitler's Holocaust.
